Pull up a stool 'ere and I'll spin ye a yarn of a might able and suitable family, of which you may lay to that, who's embarked upon a most unorthodox, yet adventuresome journey.

It all started in that thar great and vast land of Texas, where I reckon they fetched a pretty penny for thar plunder, and shoaled thar landlubber ways to boot, to embrace a life amongst sailing vessels, the sea, and the likes of our fine company, as the case were. Click here to finish reading.

About the Boat

Kai Ohana under sail.Kai Ohana ("Ocean Family" in Hawaiian) when purchased by the Bach Family on the island of Sint Maarten/St.Martin in January 2006 was a 75ft (60ft on deck) Italian designed and built wooden staysail schooner called Saudade (Portuguese for "Longing", as for an old friend).
